Sustainability is extremely important to the Sunstar Hotel Group and is more than just a buzzword. For years, Sunstar Hotels have therefore set themselves the goal of achieving above-average performance at all levels of sustainability (ecological, social, economic). In doing so, they want to contribute to the long-term well-being of guests and employees and the protection of nature. An intact natural environment and cultural characteristics are the capital of tourism and therefore indispensable for the Swiss hotel group. With the myclimate «Cause We Care» initiative, Sunstar gives its guests the opportunity to actively contribute to climate protection by making a voluntary contribution. The Hotel Group then doubles the contributions. A part of the amount is used to offset the unavoidable emissions of the Hotels through myclimate, making the stays climate-neutral. Sunstar then invests the remaining amounts in local sustainability measures.
