The Starling Hotel Lausanne has now joined the myclimate "Cause We Care" initiative. The Starling Hotel Lausanne belongs to the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne (EPFL) and is located on the EPFL campus, right next to Lake Geneva.
It is not surprising that EPFL, one of the world's most renowned technical universities, has been promoting sustainability on its campus for decades. The Starling Hotel Lausanne has been certified according to the ISO 14001 environmental management system since 2013 and has been committed to protecting the environment for many years.
At the hotel, it is possible to spend a climate-neutral night for a voluntary contribution of CHF 3.00 and to obtain a sustainability conference package for an additional 1.5% of the package price. The Starling Hotel Lausanne invests the donated contributions in its own sustainability.
