Tourismus Engadin Scuol Samnaun Val Müstair AG
Guests of the Bergbahnen Scuol AG have the opportunity to purchase a climate-neutral train ticket for CHF 1, and to offset the CO2 emissions of their experience with myclimate and make a contribution to local sustainability. In this way, the guests achieve a double effect with their commitment. At the same time, Bergbahnen Scuol AG doubles these contributions and invests in its own sustainability. In addition, guests enjoy a climate-neutral lunch in the mountain restaurants "Alpetta" and "La Motta" at a surcharge of CHF 1.
The destination management organisation Tourismus Engadin Scuol Samnaun Val Müstair AG (TESSVM) supports sustainable tourism. As a region for holidays involving nature and culture, TESSVM promotes offers that not only preserve the landscape and cultural values but also further develop them carefully. The goal is for guests to experience these values. In the process, TESSMV strives for an occupancy rate distributed across the entire year. That makes it possible to create and secure year-round jobs and maintain the regional economic cycle. Accordingly, TESSVM understands sustainable tourism as ecological, economical and social sustainability. The holiday region Samnaun Val Müstair places the greatest value only on things that fulfil all three criteria. Careful usage of natural resources, climate protection and responsibility for social justice also define the company’s internal operations.

One e-car for everyone
Since April 2019, the office of the Biosfera Val Müstair Nature Park in Tschierv has a BMWi3. To ensure that everyone benefits from the nature park's new electric car, it is rented out via the car-sharing platform Sharoo. In this way, Biosfera raises people's awareness for e-mobility and enables them to travel emission-free without their own car, even at off-peak times. The TESSVM supported the project with funds from the «Cause We Care» fund.
