Sustainability and ecology are given top priority at Schloss Wartegg. In their daily work, the staff strive to use resources in the most environmentally friendly way possible.
The sustainability efforts of the castle operators are far-reaching and range from products and services to a sustainable kitchen, an exemplary recycling concept and the careful maintenance of the large garden. Among other things, natural materials such as solid wood and linen are used in the hotel. In addition, visitors can rent e-bikes and use an e-charging station.
With a contribution of CHF 2.00 per overnight stay, guests can now compensate for their unavoidable CO2 emissions. Schloss Wartegg doubles all contributions and thus has the opportunity to promote further effective sustainability measures on site.
