The heart of its various sustainability efforts is the company's own biogas plant. This enables the natural cycle within the tradition of their hotels and restaurants to be used optimally and in an environmentally friendly manner. The bioorganic waste from the community of Zermatt, as well as manure and slurry, can be used to produce its own CO2-neutral electricity, which is then fed into the company's own operations.
