Davos Klosters – Sustainability is more than a promise

Since 2019, the destination Davos Klosters (DDO) is officially climate neutral. Under the initiative myclimate «Cause We Care», guests can now also make their contribution and promote new sustainability initiatives.

«We are dependent on an intact nature - especially in tourism», explains Reto Branschi, CEO/Director, who has officially been running a climate-neutral business since the end of October 2019. Even before joining the myclimate «Cause We Care» initiative, sustainability was a major and important topic for Davos Klosters. The destination has been relying on geothermal energy for various buildings, print brochures were replaced by eMagazines and solar power and recycling have been promoted.

Now, thanks to «Cause We Care», guests also have the opportunity to actively participate in climate protection, and thanks to the doubling of the amounts in the «Cause We Care» fund, future sustainability measures can be implemented even more quickly.
