Climate-neutral ferry trips made possible by Cruise &amp; Ferry

Cruise & Ferry Center, the Swiss specialist for ferry travel, has joined the sustainability initiative myclimate «Cause We Care» With this commitment, the company wants to further expand its range of services and make them more sustainable.öchte das Unternehmen sein Angebot weiter ausbauen und nachhaltiger gestalten.

Customers of the Cruise & Ferry Center can now make a voluntary climate protection contribution of 1% of the booking sum for all cruises and tours. This gives the customer the possibility to book climate-neutral tours.At the same time, effective climate protection project inland and abroad are promoted.

Rebecca Senn, Managing Director of Cruise & Ferry AG, is convinced of the combination of local measures and global commitment: "We want our children and grandchildren to be able to grow up in an intact natural environment. This is why we have chosen the «Cause We Care» project. Like this, CO₂ emissions can be offset and we can also support local sustainability projects».

Cruise & Ferry Center has chosen on a global compensation project in Uganda. The main objective of the project is to supply poorer households and institutions such as schools with new technologies to purify drinking water. The implementation of various local sustainability measures is underway too.
